Do we own our houses, or do they own us? This West Coast gem is a fully restored beauty on Coronado Island, California. Real estate is expensive there, and this home's location makes it even more so. Cats enjoy total freedom from the stress and pressures we humans experience. There was not a cat on this property. I intentionally placed one there to make the point of ownership from an animal's perspective. This seemed a fitting title.

Karen Faire is an author and an award winning artist living in Fairhope, Alabama with Shane, her husband of 33 years.
