Visiting Savannah, Georgia is heaven for the architecture lover. They have gems of all eras. The farther west one gets from the river, the newer the century. This beautiful specimen sits pretty on one of the squares that Savannah is known for. It's illustrious neighbor is the Mercer Mansion.The two together are breathtaking. The funny thing is that I had to stand in a parking place to wait for the clouds to pass. This did not make drivers very happy, but I stood my ground and was able to take my picture that I used to paint this beautiful Southern Belle. I never tire of looking at her.
